“ LET OUR DROPS TURN INTO WELLS ”
Even though it’s hard to imagine from our warm houses, let’s close our eyes for a few minutes and try to imagine together… Picture this; You wake up in a shed-like house. Cold, hot, summer or winter, it doesn’t matter. The roof on your head does not give you the safe feeling of a home. You don’t even have a glass of clean water at your bedside any more. You don’t have the warm shower you take as soon as you wake up, where you prepare yourself for the new day. In a moment, you’ll be walking for kilometres. When you set off with the hope of a drop of water accumulated in the rain, you will forget that the water is dirty. You have to because you and your children need this water for drinking and cleaning. You will sip that undrinkable water in desperation while dreaming of a drop of clean water. Your clothes will be washed with that water, and you will have to bathe with that dirty water as well. While all this is happening, you will unfortunately continue to receive the news of your friends who got sick and died due to polluted drinking water.
Now open your eyes please. It should not be difficult to empathize with our brothers and sisters, who struggle their whole life with thirst. South Asia and the continent of Africa has been struggling for centuries with these vital problems that we could not bear to imagine for a few minutes. Those who have to share muddy water containing high levels of arsenic with the animals side by side, are human beings just like us. Their children are as precious as ours.
Unfortunately, 20 thousand children die every year because they don’t have access to a source of clean drinking water. 20,000 children become orphans, because their parents have lost their lives due to diseases related to contaminated water.
As Doctor Aqua Family, we are not indifferent to the human tragedy experienced in these geographies. With the donations we made as an institution, on behalf of our DEAR FRIENDS who use our products and mean much more to us than just customers, and the contributions of our friends and their friends who said “We are with you” in this caravan of goodness with us; we continue to provide services to arid geographies by opening water wells. Because, like every human being, they have the right to have clean and healthy water, which is a unique blessing. Millions of our brothers and sisters living in these lands should be able to benefit from clean water.
This is why we work with all our strength to bring clean and healthy water to these lands. We wish that not one more mother lose her child from thirst. We wish that not one more child lose his or her parents who become sick from polluted water. Let’s enjoy this unique blessing created by God for all of us.
It is our greatest wish to be instrumental in opening many wells with our dear friends who mean more to us than customers, to see lovingly smiling faces, and happy eyes.
Our dear friends can open a water well in one of the countries in which we carry out this valuable project, and if they wish they can name the well. Our friends who desire can participate in the opening of water wells and witness the joy in the region, where their charity reached. For our friends who cannot attend the opening, we send them special photos and videos to share the great joy they contributed with them.
In addition to all these, our friends who cannot open a water well alone can contribute to the wells to be opened by supporting our WATER WELL POOL. What a meaningful saying it is. “Many a little makes a mickle”
